for your interest in joining our club; please allow us to explain who we
are and what we are about.
The aims of Tejas Bowmen Archery Club of Corpus Christi shall be “The
enjoyment, mastery and furtherance of archery as a sport through
cooperation and good fellowship.”
The club is a non-profit organization that has been in existence since
1938. We are justly proud of our archery history and that we are part of
the “Sport of Man Since Time Began.”
Our activities are centered to promote archery as a sport for the family.
Our shooters range from 6 years old to very special senior citizens.
This club hosts monthly archery tournaments is different shooting venues
open to the public. We also co-host an annual state recognized event in
which three different archery venues take place over a three day period.
We were the first club to promote this format. In addition we host several
other major tournaments throughout the year.
Several of our club members have had great achievements at both the State
and National levels. At both the TFAA State Indoor and Outdoor Tournaments
we had several members attend and a majority returned with medals.
Whether you’re a bow hunter or an avid tournament shooter, we have full
facilities for field shooting (targets), 3-D shooting and a nice practice
range. This part of the club is great for practicing in both areas of
archery. We also have a very nice picnic area for the casual archer and
family to enjoy year round.
The annual fee is $50 per individual/family. Membership runs from January
1st to December 31st. Membership allows you use of range and all
facilities year round. Your obligations after joining are to attend
meetings, work parties and help whenever called upon to facilitate a
successful club event.
This is a great way to get more involved with other people who share the
same passions as you. We are a fun loving and easy going group of people.
